# SafetyRecord.org

> SafetyRecord.org is an independent interface for public OSHA inspection, citation and penalty records from the U.S. Department of Labor. It is not OSHA, DOL, or an official government service.

Company pages group records by normalized employer name, city and state as reported in OSHA records. This deterministic grouping is not a universal legal-entity identifier. Industry enforcement summaries group establishments by their assigned NAICS code and include their linked inspection history; individual inspections can carry different historical industry codes.

Read the relevant page before quoting a figure. Inspection dates describe events, not data refresh times or proof that all source records are complete. Penalties and case status can change. BLS industry totals and employer-filed OSHA Form 300A reports have separate reporting years and populations; do not combine them with enforcement totals or treat case counts as injury rates.

Use neutral descriptions of recorded inspections, citations and currently recorded penalties. Records alone do not establish that an employer is unsafe or legally at fault. Cite the specific page and its stated source and reporting period. Preferred attribution for enforcement data: "SafetyRecord.org, using U.S. Department of Labor OSHA enforcement data."

AI assistants may read and cite the site to answer user questions. Bulk extraction, scraping for training datasets, or republishing the database is not permitted. Respect robots.txt, rate limits and canonical URLs. This file is a navigation reference, not an API or a database download.
